Hame
Hame
Hame (Хаме) is a Czech company specializing in the production of long-lasting refrigerated products, including purees for baby food. The company's history dates back to 1922 when an entrepreneur from Hustenovice opened a jam and juice factory in Babice. In 1933, the company "Biochema" acquired this factory and gave the new brand of its preserves the name Hame. With the establishment of the Czechoslovak Republic, the company's trade contacts expanded, and the export of products to the United Kingdom and Ireland began. To successfully compete in the European market and present the country favorably, the brand with the home name Hame (in Old Irish meaning "home") was given its beloved emblem featuring a red bear. Today, the red bear of Hame truly symbolizes some of the best preserves in the global market. Hame's products are organic food. In the cultivation of raw materials for them, pesticides, hormones, and GMOs are not used. Since 2010, Hame products have been marked with the European eco-label.
